ABOUT THE STUDIO
RIZEN Atelier is an interior design practice with studios in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne. We design spaces, objects, and experiences that are a direct response to the people who will inhabit them, to their vision, their brief, and the particular qualities of the place.
Our name is drawn from two ideas: RISE, the pursuit of originality and determination. ZEN, reflecting balance, sustainability, and care for people and place.
Every project begins with your brief - not our aesthetic. The design is a direct response to who you are, what you need, and what the place demands. We design with longevity in mind, delivering work that is thoughtful in materiality, meticulous in detail, and considered at every scale.

From concept through to documentation, the same senior team stays involved throughout the project. We work collaboratively and refine ideas as we go, bringing clients into the process at the right moments and clearly explaining the thinking behind key decisions. The goal is a result that feels shaped together, not something that was simply delivered to you.

Every design decision leaves a mark - on the environment, on the people who inhabit the space, and on how long the work holds its value. That awareness sits behind everything we specify, from the first concept to the final FF&E selection.
When a project calls for rigorous sustainable outcomes, we have the knowledge and the experience to deliver them. The RIZEN team has designed to Six Star Green Star and WELL Platinum standards, and led projects where low-carbon construction and material reuse were built into the design from concept - not resolved at the end.
